APEX-BRASIL: THE EXPORTER’S PARTNER

The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency promotes exports of Brazilian products and services in the international market. That’s its mission, which also involves supporting the internationalization of Brazilian companies and attracting foreign investments to Brazil. All actions, projects and activities focus on the construction of the country’s image as a qualified supplier to attend the most demanding markets.
The basis of Apex-Brasil’s work is the partnership with the private sector, always helping to increase the number of Brazilian exporters, to open new markets abroad for Brazilian products and services, and to consolidate the Brazilian presence on traditional markets. Focusing on 6 productive complexes – agribusiness, housing and civil construction, entertainment and services, machinery and equipment, fashion, technology and health – the Agency develops projects with companies from more than 60 sectors of the economy in all regions of the country, stimulating them to participate in international fairs, trade missions, exhibitions and business rounds.
Analyses of market business opportunities, studies about competitiveness and conjunctures, among other surveys, integrate the portfolio of the products offered by Apex-Brasil to support Brazilian companies access the international market. The Agency also has five Trade Support Centers operating in Miami (USA), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Havana (Cuba), Warsaw (Poland) and Beijing (China). Regarding investment attraction, Apex-Brasil has been encouraging foreign investments focusing on large flows of capital and technology.
